AOL’s latest version for the Macintosh, designed for OS X, uses a Gecko-based browser, let’s hope the next Windows version does the same. Follow the speculation in Mozillazine’s forums.

In other browser related news, look for a service pack for Internet Explorer 6 to land sometime soon. Word of its release has been trickling across the Net, with a JScript.dk-hosted document providing the most details I’ve seen. Looks to mainly be a series of security-related updates.
