On Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada, the world is attacking Afghanistan.

Although it sounds like the attacks will be backed by humanitarian relief, this war is not going to end when the Taliban fall.

As Bush, in a speech where he explicitly thanked Canada, said “the battle is broader…there is no neutral ground”. War has a tendency to erase the grey, and leave just the black and white, the right and wrong. But there is no such thing as absolutes.
