Internet Explorer 6.0 released
The new Internet Explorer has officially been released. If you’e using Windows 98 and up, I urge you to download the browser. You don’t even have to use it as your default browser (though if you’re not. I hope your using Netscape 6.1/Mozilla or Opera — if not, what are you waiting for?).
Why the plea? Because with version 6 comes with 100 percent support of the 5-year-old CSS-1 spec, full support of DOM-1, support for SMIL 2.0, and a pretty decent XML engine. All this means the big two browsers will display pages almost the exact same way and you'll be better able to enjoy sites (like this one) that are dynamic and responsive to your needs.
