The Toronto Sun’s Connect is no longer. The end of the weekly technology section comes on the heels of continued lay-offs at the paper. Toronto’s other daily, The Star, shuttered its tech section a few months ago.

Sandy McMurray, who’s been writing about technology in The Sun since January 1995, says he got the call last Friday. McMurray, unlike another recently laid-off columnist, will not be seeking donations but will continue to edit Connect Monthly in the paper.

And since today is Hallowe’en, here’s some costume ideas for people—like me—remember when the 2600 was cutting edge and Logo powered turtles, not corporations.
