Until recently, saila.com is primarily produced on a range of Windows-based computers from an old 486-33 to a more current PIII-500 running Windows 95 through XP. Now it is mainly produced on an 24" iMac or MacBook running Mac OS X.
The site is powered by a custom-built CMS running on the PHP-based CodeIgniter framework. The vast majority of the code is hand-done in TextMate, and the few images there are on this site were done in The GimpShop.

As mentioned in “Geek This...”, the site’s design and layout is done entirely with cascading style sheets, using semantic mark-up. The page templates conform to the W3C’s HTML 4.01 and CSS 2 (with some CSS 3 elements) recommendations.
