Living Can Kill You

Doing JavaScript

Managed to finally roll-out the dHTML-ized version of the site's interior pages this weekend. Throughout this process (and that of redeveloping the still unlaunched Ontario Science Centre site) my JavaScript knowledge went from nothing to passable competence (with thanks to the braintrust at WebDesign-L).

Perhaps not surprisingly, the biggest obstacle to the launch (intended to happen two weeks ago) was the JavaScripting. At one point, just as I thought everything was ready to go, I found out Mozilla would explode moments after loading a page. The CSS took some minor tweaking to get right (I haven't been able to test on IE4 or IE5.0, so there could still be problems...notice any?)

Next on the roll-out the new home page, which will have some features I've been wanting to implement for almost a year, but didn't have the skills.
