Blocking AOL
Let the shouting match come north.
A few years ago AOL was yelling at the U.S. cable companies complaining access to a high-speed network was blocked. Then they bought/merged with Time-Warner.
Now, AOL Canada is yelling at the Canadian telecoms and cable companies complaining access to a high-speed network is being blocked. While the CAIP has been making the same complaints for a long-time, AOL Canada is owned by one of the world’s largest media companies and it’s already one of the top portals in Canada.
