Banner ads; Mozilla 1.0 arrives
Somewhere, out there, there’s a group of people responsible for defining the size of ads that appear on Web pages. But that space doesn’t always have to be filled by a commercial message, it could display art. That’s the idea behind the Banner Art Collective.
If you have spare ad space, or feel like creating some ad-size art, the Collective might be of interest to you (and if anyone ends up creating some 88 × 31 ads, let me know).
Just listening to Metro Morning and heard an official let it slip that there are special “free-parking” cards for any of Toronto’s public parking spaces. Supposedly, there are only 100 or so available—mainly to retirees from the authority.
Mozilla 1.0 has been released—a week prior to its official launch party. This is not a beta browser, so stop hesitating and download it today.
