CBC.ca redesigns

Yikes. You know things are bad when DoubleClick shuts down its Canadian ad sales arm.

In more upbeat news, CBC.ca has rolled-out a redesign of its site. The new look has a nice subtle, colour palette, and more room for additonal content in its new, industry-minimum width of 760 pixels. The universal navigation now has a simple dHTML menu, as well as quick links to the Mother Corp.’s wireless, email, radio, and news services. But try navigating with the images turned off—no alt attributes and no size for the images, make the sites entire navigation useless.
